The Aquatic Ballet was inaugurated on April 29, 1995 coinciding with the restructuring of the park Can Fabra. The Fountain is equipped with parabolic, vertical jets, sprays and other water features.

Incorporating music and water show moving lights is an example of the application of technological advances in a space recovered from the past. A computer program translates the musical notes in water jets with different intensity and direction, which are then corrected by a choreographer. On 2015 the fountain turns 20 years old and it is still working as new.
